A great many and wide variety of Jenny Morgan’s paintings have passed through the hands and halls of Plus Gallery in her first 15 years exhibiting as an artist, with nearly one every ending up in private collections, including over 20 self portraits. The vast majority of Morgan’s early collectors supported her work in depth, several lending paintings from their collections for various exhibitions coordinated with Plus Gallery at other institutions and spaces. The following samples are quintessential examples of the artist’s singular, transformative practice that are found in private collections.
