Upon exiting our space at 2501 Larimer Street the gallery announced a new base of operations within Metropolitan Frame Company at 424 Broadway. As one of the leading framing resources in the state of Colorado for fine and contemporary art, Metropolitan Frame boasts an exhibition space at the entry of their building that is ideal for group efforts and rotational displays of art. Plus Gallery follows up our initial installation of works by 13 of our represented artists with an introduction of all new works by three of our premier artists: Laura Krudener, Frank T. Martinez and Xi Zhang. The exhibition provides a snapshot of what’s new from each of the artists respective studios. A selection of paintings from Zhang’s latest body of work “Metallic-leaf Garden” will be unveiled, along with new monochromatic works on paper and small-scale paintings from Martinez’ Untitled 6 series, as well as a trio of Krudener’s most recent abstract poured paintings from her new “Explosions and Whispers” series.

Plus Gallery and Metropolitan Frame will open the exhibition of new works by Krudener, Martinez and Zhang on Wednesday, February 18th with an evening reception from 5-8pm. The evening will serve as an opportunity to re-engage with Plus Gallery, meet our new associates and view some terrific new works by each of the three artists. Save the date and plan on joining us the night of the 18th.
