Jenny Morgan has launched her latest major solo exhibition at Driscoll Babcock Galleries in the heart of New York Cities art scene in Chelsea. “All we have is now” centers on themes of life, death and rebirth, presenting another totally transfixing set of paintings that deliver some significant progressions in her work. Fusing figurative realism with graphic forms, Morgan’s impeccably detailed images demonstrate an exceptional technique, while purposefully abstracting the human body – at times reducing it to its fundamental, skeletal structure. ┬áIt’s a thrilling show that packs the psychological punch that we’ve come to expect and fully admire from Morgan, while pushing a level of visual intensity not yet realized in such a broad manner in her works prior. The exhibition, on view from May 14th through July 2nd, is accompanied by a 48 page catalog, to find out more about the show visit
