Plus Gallery welcomes California poet Sarah Suzor back to Denver for the release party to celebrate “After the Fox,” a collaborative book of poetry written by Suzor and Travis Cebula. Additional writers have been invited to read that evening as well including Selah Saterstrom, author of “The Meat and Sprit Plan, as well as HR Hegnauer, author of ”Sir.” Snacks and wine will be served at the launch, kicking off a tour that will travel to other locations around the country. We are excited to have Suzor, originally from Denver, back for the reading of her latest work, please join us that night starting at 7pm, seating will be limited and first-come first-served.
Sarah Suzor’s full-length collection of poetry, The Principle Agent, won the 2010 Hudson Prize and was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2011. Her reviews and interviews can be found in Tarpaulin Sky and Rain Taxi, and she has recently guest blogged for the Best American Poetry series. Suzor’s poetry has been published widely, as well as anthologized, translated and nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She lives in Venice, California where she is a founding editor for Highway 101 Press, a correspondent for Omnidawn’s online magazine OmniVerse, and a guest lecturer for the Left Bank Writers Retreat in Paris.
