PLATTEFORUM PRESENTS FREEDOM TO BE...HEARD THIS THURSDAY, MAY 25th
Platteforum's ArtLab interns as community activists have engaged students within their schools to participate in creating mixed media 6 x 8 artworks and a short film focusing on issues of Freedom. Over 500 cards have been created by children from Denver area schools and organizations, refugee groups, children living in the Mathare slums in Kenya and professional artists. For the opening reception, held this thursday May 25th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm, the public is invited to add to the exhibition by creating their own artworks on site.
