Houston artist William Betts had one of the most inspired and exciting year an artist possibly could, the depth of both his process and talent being fully realized through new bodies of work as well as wide appreciation for his initial Stripe series.  With representation by credible dealers in key US markets including NY's Chelsea, Betts' value and prestige has truly swelled.  We are now proud to report that all of the paintings from his February 2007 exhibition "Vertigo" here at Plus are now recently sold out, a status in our market that is largely reserved for artists of collector caliber.  Those who took in the exhibition witnessed one of the foremost displays of Betts talent in a gallery context, truly rare in that it defined the depth of the artist's recent surveillance work.  Plus gallery debuted Betts' follow up to the series in Miami last December at Art Miami with another outstanding evolution, one that is remarkable and pushes the extremes of Williams process. Two paintings from his latest "RCS" series are now available for viewing at the gallery and highly recommended for serious collectors.
