Four + gallery artists accepted into Western Edition of New American Paintings

+ gallery congratulates artists William Betts, Lenka Konopasek, Jenny Morgan and Karen McClanahan for their acceptance into the 2005 Western States Edition of New American Paintings. The juror for this years edition is Fereshteh Daftari, who is the assistant Curtor in the department of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The three artists were selected from hundreds of entrants, and their work will appear in Volume 60 of the publication towards the end of the year. Though it is no surprise to us that these four talented artists have been selected, it is nevertheless a tremendous honor that will inspire and further their careers. New works by Jenny Morgan are currently on view in the gallery, and Lenka Konopasek's "Rodeo Picture Show" is currently on view at Redshift gallery in conjunction with + gallery.
