Martinez, Whiting and Rettig exhibitions commence this weekend at Plus+gallery

Plus+gallery exhibitions featuring Michael Whiting, Frank T. Martinez and Hunt Rettig are set to commence this Saturday, and we simply can't wait for the public to see them. Every now and then the stars happen to align perfectly and this happens to be one of those rare occassions! The third time back for both Whiting and Martinez, their new exhibitions mark the first time in six years that we've chosen to fully integrate the efforts of our two featured artists here at the gallery . The synergy between Martinez' latest series of paintings and Whiting's most recent sculptures is simply enthralling and cause for celebration. We've opened up the gallery space to its full volume and encourage everyone to come take a "Walk in the Park" as Whiting as so aptly titled his show. Both artists have executed their works in color palettes that are ultra-vibrant and quite complementary, when viewed together it is the ultimate pleasure trip and some of the most outstanding contemporary art of the year. The gallery sidebar also features the return of Hunt Rettig, whose success on a national level is unprecedented, though in view of his elegant and absolutely singular work is no stretch of the imagination. The exhibitions start this saturday October 20th and will be on view through December 7th. We will host a reception for the artists next Thursday, October 25th from 6-9pm. Prepare to be dazzled!
