RIVA SWEETROCKET SPOTLIGHTED IN OCTOBER ISSUE OF 5280
Though short on, the current issue of 5280 has featured a small profile on Plus+gallery artist Riva Sweetrocket, whose exhibition "Bravery of Being" was recently on view at the Boulder Public Library. Sweetrocket is definitely on a roll; in addition to being featured in the Warhol Regional Exhibition at New Mexico State and being mentioned in 5280 as a local artist to watch, she is currently preparing new work for her full scale Plus+gallery exhibition set for early 2008. Pick up a copy on the newsstands now and see a full page actually devoted to art, with international sensation David Adjaye on the very same page!
