LATINO INITIATIVE HOSTS SOCIAL / EDUCATIONAL NIGHT AT + GALLERY THURSDAY OCTOBER 5th

Our friends with Denver's "Latina Initiative" will host an evening social and informational here at + gallery that is open to Latina's and the public alike. Join us from 6 to 8pm for a fun night to get information about the upcoming election on November 7th, including a demonstration of one of Denver’s new voting machines (courtesy of the Denver Election Commission). Besides being a good night to network and enjoy wine and appetizers (courtesy of Encantada Catering Bonacquisti Wine Company), you can also apply for an Absentee Ballot, turn in your Latina Voting Circle Pledge Forms (wth prizes for the most pledges), get your “I’m Latina & I Vote! T-shirt and update your voter registration information or get registered to vote. Latinas/os turned out in record numbers in 2004 and for 2006 they strive to continue that trend!!
