JOHN McENROE DISPLAYS NEW WORKS AT BELMAR, RECEPTION TONIGHT

+ gallery artist John McEnroe, who was responsible for one of the most lauded exhibitions last year here at the gallery, has been tucked away in his studio taking his concepts with latex to wonderful new levels.  The new works can only be described as ultra "sexy" and the really good news is that John has been asked to mount an exhibition in the Lab at Belmar in Lakewood as an interim project preceding the highly anticipated opening of that space this fall.   The exhibition will have limited viewing opportunities, as the Lab will not have official opening hours this summer, but the public will have the chance to engage with these new works at various times corresponding with the latest "Art Fitness Training" program and the upcoming "Mixed Taste: Tag-Team Lectures on Unrelated Topics," both hosted by Adam Lerner.

The other good news is that the Lab will host a reception on Thursday, May 18th for the first chance to see the sexy new McEnroe's following fitness training.  We encourage everyone to head out and greet John from 7:30 - 9pm that night.  You'll be glad you did, at least if you want to witness one of the regions most talented and truly groundbreaking artists.

The Lab’s temporary program site is at 6999 W. Alaska Dr. at Belmar in Lakewood.  For more information, call 303-934-1777 or visit www.belmarlab.org
