NEW AMERICAN PAINTINGS FEATURING FOUR + GALLERY ARTISTS IS OUT NOW!

Gilbert and Ivar are extremely proud to announce the publication of the Western of Edition of New American Paintings, a national publication that represents the best in painting talent across the country. This year we submitted 6 artists for consideration. While many artist from Colorado, New Mexico and Texas generally are chosen for this edition, we were thrilled to have 4 of our artists accepted. William Betts, Lenka Konopasek, Karen McClanahan and Jenny Morgan were all selected by juror Fereshteh Daftari, the assistant curator for Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, for a record number of artists represented by a single gallery not only in Colorado, but also in the entire Western Competition. We were also notified that represented artist Frank T. Martinez was chosen as an alternate for the publication, though he ultimately was not included. As if that weren't good enough, an image from artist Lenka Konopasek's Rodeo Series has been given the back cover of the publication............The edition of NAP featuring these four artist works is now available on select newsstands, and we encourage everyone to pick up a copy and witness the progression of our local artist scene in a publication with an international profile.
